On Thursday 12 May 2016, law firm Arendt & Medernach announced the appointment of five new Counsels.
According to the firm, these promotions demonstrate the company's commitment to strengthening the areas of law in which the new Counsels operate. The new Counsels are as follows:

- Catherine Bernardin: Insurance & Reinsurance Law
- Nicolas Bouveret: Investment Management
- Jan Dobrzensky: Private Equity & Real Estate
- Victorien Hémery: Private Equity & Real Estate.
