Christian Borner, Country Head for UBS Luxembourg; Credit: UBS

On Tuesday 27 February 2024, UBS Luxembourg confirmed that Christian Borner was appointed Country Head for UBS Luxembourg at the turn of the year. 

As Country Head, he will be responsible for overseeing all UBS Group business conducted in Luxembourg, driving cross-business collaboration across UBS’ Divisions and Group Functions, and growing the firm’s well-established franchise for the benefit of its clients.

Christian Borner has been with UBS for over two decades, starting his career at UBS Zurich and working in Wealth Management in the US and London. In 2011, he joined UBS Luxembourg as Head of Investment Products & Services Benelux and was subsequently appointed Head of Asset Servicing in 2021.
