On Wednesday 11 October 2023, Deloitte Luxembourg announced the recent arrival of 300 new joiners with 27 different nationalities.

During the first few months of this financial year, Deloitte Luxembourg has recruited 433 professionals across all service lines and levels. Of these, 300 were celebrated during a special welcome day, on Thursday 5 October 2023, introducing junior profiles to the firm's values, culture and strategy through its induction programme.

"The arrival of our new joiners is a pivotal moment in the life of our firm and underscores our unwavering commitment to long-term growth. We are proud to welcome top-tier talent to Deloitte, as they join us in crafting the subsequent chapters of our success story," commented John Psaila, CEO and Managing Partner at Deloitte Luxembourg.

The induction programme, running from 5 to 12 October 2023, employs a blended approach of in-person and virtual training sessions, according to the firm. It includes a digital journey via Deloitte's AI-powered educational platform, which integrates learning into daily workflows. Alongside technical and soft skills, the programme is designed to nurture enduring human capabilities that inductees will utilise throughout their careers, noted the firm. A team-building game in the city and networking events are also on the agenda, with the aim of facilitating opportunities for new joiners to get to know their colleagues across service lines and learn more about Luxembourg.

The kick-off event featured interactive presentations from CEO and Managing Partner John Psaila, Talent Leader Stephan Tilquin, Sustainability Leader Francesca Messini, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Leader Christian van Dartel and Innovation Director Fateh Amroune.

"It is consistently exhilarating to welcome brilliant professionals to our firm and guide them through the initial stages of their careers. Our new joiners are of the highest calibre and enable Deloitte Luxembourg to pursue excellence in professional expertise continually," said Stephan Tilquin. "It is of utmost importance to us that they feel an immediate sense of belonging on this unique journey, which fosters both personal and professional growth. The kick-off event served as a valuable opportunity for them to absorb Deloitte's shared values and inclusive culture."

As in previous years, entrepreneur and former skate professional Taïg Khris was present to discuss overcoming obstacles and believing in one's dreams.

With the newly onboarded professionals, Deloitte Luxembourg's workforce now totals 2,700 individuals across its Advisory & Consulting, Audit & Assurance and Tax businesses and its internal Operations.
