The partners of Luxembourg law firm Elvinger Hoss Prussen recently announced six promotions: Charlotte Chen (Partner - Hong Kong Office), Michel Marques Pereira (Partner), Anaïs Sohler (Counsel), Stéphanie Pautot (Partner), Thomas Göricke (Partner) and Milène Drweski (Counsel).

Commenting on these promotions, Managing Partner Manou Hoss stated: "It is a great pleasure and satisfaction to promote talented lawyers to counsel and partner. Milène Drweski - Counsel

Milène Drweski has focused on the coordination and contribution to the knowledge development of the firm since 2018, with a special focus on corporate law. Prior to joining the knowledge development team, Milène has worked for seven years as a transactional lawyer with Elvinger Hoss Prussen. She also worked for an investment bank in Krakow (Poland) as a legal associate. She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2013.

Anaïs Sohler - Counsel

Anaïs Sohler’s practice concentrates on asset management and regulated entities (management companies, AIFMs, investment firms and other professionals of the financial sector such as registrar agents, depositary banks, administrative agents, domiciliation agents). Anaïs provides advice to regulated professionals in relation to the set-up, structuring and administration of their Luxembourg activities. This includes notably advice on outsourcing, ICT and cloud infrastructure. She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2013 and was a member of the Paris Bar from 2013 to 2017.

Charlotte Chen - Partner – Hong Kong Office

Charlotte Chen’s practice focuses on investment fund and corporate law. She specialises in the field of establishment and structuring of investment funds. Charlotte also advises institutional and private investors investing in funds or acquiring fund structures. She is a member of the Regulatory Sub-Committee of the HKIFA (Hong Kong Investment Funds Association) and the Hong Kong Sub-Committee of ALFI (Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry). She is also a member of the Hong Kong Federation of Women Lawyers. Charlotte is a Foreign Registered Lawyer with the Law Society of Hong Kong since 2015. She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2014 and a member of the Paris Bar since 2009.

Thomas Göricke - Partner

Thomas "Tom" Göricke’s practice focuses on collective asset management and investment funds with a specific focus on rules regarding sustainable finance and environmental, social and governance (ESG). He advises clients on the set-up and structuring of their Luxembourg investment fund operations as well as on regulatory matters. Tom is part of the firm’s sustainable finance task force and actively participates in various industry association working groups on this subject. Prior to joining the firm, Tom trained as a solicitor of England and Wales. He has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2010 and a member of the Law Society of England and Wales since 2009. Tom is also a solicitor of England and Wales since 2009 and a member of ALFI working groups on sustainable finance.

Michel Marques Pereira - Partner

Michel Marques Pereira's principal field of activity is the structuring and formation of private equity, real estate and debt funds under the form of regulated or non-regulated vehicles. Michel advises a number of investment fund promoters, their investment vehicles and their investment managers on a wide range of regulatory, commercial and finance matters. He also advises on insurance and reinsurance-related matters including unit-linked insurance plans. Michel has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2011.

Stéphanie Pautot - Partner

Stéphanie Pautot has broad experience in advising on all aspects of real estate investment projects including acquisition, due diligence, disposal, local development projects, financing, lease negotiations and property management. She provides guidance across most types of real estate, including offices, retail and warehousing and she usually acts as an interface between clients and technical experts, including accounting and tax advisers. She also acts as legal project manager for large-scale real estate projects. Stéphanie is recognised for having a strong legal knowledge, displays fine legal reasoning and is able to tackle complex legal issues. Together with other members, Stéphanie is in charge of coordinating and contributing to the knowledge development of the firm, with a special focus on corporate law and real estate law.

She has been a lecturer at the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs for the company secretary training programme since 2018 and in Luxembourg corporate law at the Université de Lorraine (France) since 1998. She is also regular lecturer in conferences organised by IFE Benelux.

Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Stéphanie worked for fifteen years in major Luxembourg and international law firms, and was partner at one firm specialised in real estate in Luxembourg from 2011 to 2016. She was a member of the Paris Bar from 2001 to 2016 and has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2010.
