Maxime Aerts Appointed Managing Director, COO of Fundsquare

The Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) announced yesterday the appointment of Maxime Aerts as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of its subsidiary Fundsquare.

Following the successful closing of the FundsDLT transaction, which encompassed a blockchain-based platform (created by LuxSE and Fundsquare in 2016) for the investment fund industry that facilitates the distribution of funds using distributed ledger technology, former Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Olivier Portenseigne has left Fundsquare to take up the position as CEO of the newly created entity. 

In this context, Fundsquare’s Board of Directors has named Maxime Aerts Managing Director in addition to his role as COO. Maxime Aerts has served as the COO of Fundsquare since the company's establishment in 2013.
