Villeroy & Boch have announced that Frank Göring has received a renewed five-year mandate for him to continue acting as Chair of the Management Board until 2022, as of 1 January 2017.
During a meeting held on 1 April 2016, the supervisory board of the ceramics manufacturing company endorsed the recommendation of the Staff Committee to keep Frank Göring on in the role. Mr. Göring joined Villeroy & Boch in 1997 as Marketing Director for the Bathroom and Kitchen division, before being appointed spokesman of the Management Board in 2007 and becoming CEO of the company two years later.
"The supervisory board is satisfied with the results and the continuity of Frank Göring's commitment," commented Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Villeroy & Boch, Wendelin von Boch-Galhau. "Our cooperation has been productive and successful throughout the years. I am delgithed that we can continue to work together and I am happy to know that he will be at the head of our business for years to come."
