The Jazz Forum Luxembourg has announced two upcoming concerts, with the Baptiste Herbin Quintet in March and the Dena DeRose Trio in April, both at the Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg-Merl (40 bld Dupong).
- 18 March 2025; Baptiste Herbin Quintet; with Shauli Einav, Jean-Yves Jung, Pierre Marcus and Paul Wiltgen, and guests: Julien Cuvelier, Nathan Carbone and Thibault Collienne. In this concert, Herbin will play the music of the Cannonball Adderley Quintet which included the great John Coltrane, Wynton Kelly and Jimmy Cobb. Supported by the ISL Youth Band.
- 7 April 2025; Dena DeRose Trio; with Marc Demuth and Paul Wiltgen. Supported by the Youth Band of the Ecole Internationale Differdange et Esch (EIDE).

The Jazz Forum Luxembourg was founded in 2023 by a handful of music teachers and jazz enthusiasts from the International School of Luxembourg; it is a not-for-profit association dedicated to promoting jazz music in Luxembourg. JFL’s mission is to foster a thriving jazz community in Luxembourg.
It not only organises a concert series, but it also connects the internationally renowned jazz artists with local musicians - a unique concept in Luxembourg. It also supports the young generation by giving music students a platform as a warm-up act and by making the concerts free for all students and young people under 18 years.
Following a successful debut in 2024, featuring Nick Finzer, Hermon Mehari, and Yonathan Avishai, this season’s line-up once again highlights some of the most distinctive talents of the global jazz scene, together with some of the most accomplished local heroes
