American jazz bassist, composer and record producer Marcus Miller will perform at Den Atelier in Luxembourg-Hollerich on Sunday 2 November 2025; doors open at 19:00.
He is described as a man with many faces: a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, arranger, songwriter and an "already legendary" bassist.
Marcus Miller worked together with Miles Davis on the latter's album Tutu. He is also the main author of Luther Vandross' greatest hits, and has been called upon as bassist by Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Bill Withers, Jean-Michel Jarre, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Eric Clapton and Beyoncé, among others. In addition, he has released some 50 solo records, composed film scores and won two Grammy Awards along the way.
