As a follow-up to the Autumn Leaves Jazz Festival last weekend, Neimënster and Jazz in Luxembourg (JAIL) will be offering a concert by the Reis Demuth Wiltgen trio on Sunday 25 October 2015.
The Reis Demuth Wiltgen trio, featuring Michel Reis on piano, Marc Demuth on bass and Paul Wiltgen on drums, will be unveiling jazz pieces from their forthcoming 2016 album. Their first album, the eponymous 'Reis Demuth Wiltgen', was released in 2013 under the Laborie Jazz label and was enthusiastically received by public and critics alike.
An emerging talent of Luxembourg, the trio combines European melodies and writing with rhythmic US power, highlighting the richness of contemporary jazz and an uninhibited Europe.
The concert will offer the opportunity to discover a preview of the new creations of this talented trio which continues to impress critics in Luxembourg and internationally.
The concert will take place at 11:30 on 25 October 2015 at the Salle Robert Krieps of Abbaye de Naumünster. Tickets cost €10 at standard rate and €1.50 with a Kulturpass.
