Luxembourg health mutual fund, the Caisse Médico-Complémentaire Mutualiste (CMCM), has announced that it signed a mediation charter with the Centre for Civil and Commercial Mediation (Centre de Médiation Civile et Commerciale - CMCC), which offers an amicable process for settling civil, commercial or social disputes, on Tuesday 2 August 2022.

André Heinen, Chariman of the CMCM Board of Directors, and Jacques Wolter, Chairman of the CMCC Board and accredited mediator, signed this mediation charter with the objective of optimising and continuously improving CMCM's relations with its employees and thus having the option of resolving disputes amicably, if necessary.

Mr Heinen stated: "The whole board supports the alternative approach to conflict resolution, which will help us to optimise the management of our staff and mutual trust. We know that such training has a beneficial effect on internal relations, as well as the relationships with our members".

From autumn 2022, the CMCC will provide mediation training for all 70 employees of the CMCM, a complementary mutual fund which currently covers more than 280,000 people. The latter will also appoint a mediation delegate and introduce mediation clauses in its employment contracts.
