Luxembourg startup Yotako has just raised €1 million for its software as a service (SaaS) platform that bridges the gap between web / mobile designers and engineering teams.
Yotako, an early-stage startup based in Luxembourg, has been used by thousands of companies around the world and a few well-known international brands. The seed investment comes partly from private investors, including existing investors from previous funding, as well as from public funds. Previous and current investors
include Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy, the Luxembourg Business Angel Network (LBAN) and BeAngels.
The final valuation has not been disclosed, but the company has registered continuous growth in the last few years. This consistent growth is fueling the company with registered users from all around the world.
The Yotako platform helps integrate design and engineering teams. Designers continue to use their favourite tools like Adobe XD, Sketch or Photoshop, among others, while Yotako translates their designs into multiple programming languages with the click of a mouse. Developers can work on whichever frameworks they are already using without having to change anything as they export through Yotako's plug-in into any file format or stack framework.
From the beginning, the focus of the company has been to help its clients get their job done faster so that they can focus on signing new customers and making more sales.
This new funding will give Yotako the required resources to integrate all the feedback it has collected faster than before, upgrading its customers' experience to the next level. The funds will be used to grow the startup's team by bringing new highly talented developers from all over the world, as well as to keep up with customer demand and release new features.
