On Wednesday 13 May 2026, the Luxembourg Confederation of Christian Trade Unions (LCGB) and the OGBL announced that, together with the management of Brasserie de Luxembourg, they had signed a new collective labour agreement covering around 30 employees of the brewery company.
The LCGB and the OGBL noted that the agreement followed constructive negotiations held over recent months in a spirit of mutual respect. According to the trade unions, the discussions resulted in a balanced agreement including concrete improvements for employees, particularly regarding working conditions, social guarantees and staff recognition.
The collective agreement aims to ensure attractive and sustainable working conditions within the company. The trade unions added that employees will notably benefit from a salary increase for 2026, as well as automatic salary adjustments every three years according to seniority within the company. In addition, meal vouchers will be granted to employees.
“The signed agreement reflects a shared commitment to ensuring attractive and sustainable working conditions within the company and demonstrates that constructive social dialogue can lead to tangible results for employees,” stated the LCGB and the OGBL.
The collective agreement will apply for a period of three years, from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028 inclusive.
