Recently Luxembourg trade unions the LCGB and the management of Christal Opération SA, which operates Auchan Drive, announced that they have renewed the collective agreement covering the company’s 119 employees following what both parties described as constructive negotiations.

The new agreement will remain in force from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028 and introduces several measures designed to improve employees’ working conditions and benefits over the three-year period.

Among the changes included in the agreement are an additional day of annual leave after five years of service and two extra days after ten years of service. The agreement also introduces a new monthly performance bonus to replace the previous monthly quality bonus, alongside an increase in the amounts paid.

The parties also agreed to improve the conditions for receiving the professionalism bonus and to increase the end-of-year bonus.

According to the LCGB, the agreement represents a balanced and responsible outcome at a time of economic uncertainty and challenging conditions. The union highlighted the role of constructive social dialogue and the commitment of all parties involved in reaching the deal.

The LCGB added that it remains committed to defending employees’ interests and continuing efforts to improve working conditions.
