On Monday 11 May 2026, Luxembourg trade unions the LCGB and OGBL announced the signing of a first collective labour agreement with Skyliners, a company specialising in the rental and sale of cranes.
According to the trade unions, the agreement was signed on Thursday 30 April 2026 by the LCGB, described as the majority union within the company, together with the OGBL and Skyliners management. The collective agreement applies to approximately 230 employees and entered into force on Friday 1 May 2026.
The trade unions noted that the agreement was negotiated in a calm and constructive atmosphere. They added that the new collective agreement is inspired by the sectoral agreement for the construction sector while also incorporating provisions specific to Skyliners.
The agreement includes:
- introduction of salary scales linked to professions;
- gradual salary increases;
- 28 days of annual leave for all employees;
- introduction of an annual bonus based on the construction sector model;
- clarification of working time arrangements.
