On Friday 16 January 2026, the LCGB trade union and the board of aldermen of the City of Grevenmacher signed a new collective labour agreement covering the municipality’s staff.
According to the LCGB, the agreement applies to around 45 municipal employees and will run retroactively from 1 January 2026 until 31 December 2028.
The new collective agreement notably provides for increases in several bonuses, including the on-call allowance, with some premiums rising by up to 50%. In addition, the text has been revised and restructured to improve clarity and readability.
The LCGB added that the agreement is the result of an open, constructive and respectful social dialogue conducted over recent months.
