The Indian Business Chamber of Luxembourg (IBCL) has organised a seminar entitled “I'm Creating My Company”, taking place on Friday 27 April from 16:00-21:00 and Saturday 28 April from 08:30-13:00 at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.

The seminar, organised in collaboration with the Fondation des Universitaires en Sciences Economiques (FUSE - Esprit d’Entreprise), forms part of Objectiv Entreprise and will be split across two days.

The first day, on Friday 27 April, will feature welcome speeches by Jean-Louis Beckers, President of the Fondation FUSE, and Pedro Castilho, President of IBCL. These will be followed by talks on: “How to become an entrepreneur? Best practices” given by Remy Manso (Manso Group), Genna Elvin (Tadaweb), Loic Didelot (MIXvoip) and Tuire Siiriainen (Blueberry & Pie); “How to transform my idea successfully into a concrete venture?” by Nicolas Fries (House of Entrepreneurship); “A business permit: Why? Who? How?” by Christian Kremer (Chambre des Métiers). These will be in French with translation into English.

Following a coffee break, the seminar will continue with an inspirational short story by fashion designer Ezri Kahn and the following talks: “Which legal structure fits best my project?” by Me Mario Di Stefano (DSM Avocats à la cour); “Where to locate my company?” by Jean-Paul Scheuren  (Chambre immobilière); “How to get support in the set-up process?” by Philippe Linster (House of Entrepreneurship). The evening will close with a networking cocktail.

The second day, Saturday 28 April, will begin with a networking coffee followed by first-hand accounts of financing start-ups, moderated by Samuel Paulus (Microlux) and Larissa Best (LBAN). Next, there will be talks on “What public financing and guarantees are available to entrepreneurs?” by Patrick Dahm (Mutualité des PME) and “What are the supporting measures offered by the Agence pour le développement de l’emploi (ADEM)” by Isabelle Schlesser (ADEM).

Following a coffee break, the seminar will continue with an inspirational short story by Antoine Biasino (Stuff Brauerei) and the following talks: “How to draft a business plan?” by Andréa Elain (I.U.I.L.) and Sivakumar Bactavatchalou (Uni.lu); “What are the banker’s perspectives?” by Jean-Luc Bermes (Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat). The event will end with the motivational speech “When are you creating your company?”. The day will be moderated by Pedro Castilho (IBCL) and Serge Nickels (Fondation FUSE - Esprit d’entreprise). Presentations will be in English with simultaneous translation into French.

Both days will be take place at the Chambre de Commerce du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg (7, rue Alcide de Gasperi, L-2981 Kirchberg, Luxembourg). Free parking is available.
