On Friday 27 February 2026, the Luxembourg Ministry of Digitalisation reported that malware had been detected on the system used to access mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) managed by the Centre for Information Technologies of the State (CTIE).

The ministry said that as a result of this detection, the CTIE has isolated the affected system and access to internal state services via mobile devices has not been available to users since the evening of Thursday 26 February. State services are and remain accessible via computer as normal and are fully operational.

The ministry stressed that an analysis of the incident is currently ongoing.
