WIDE ANDCO has announced upcoming career workshops for women set to take place in Luxembourg City and Esch-Belval in November and December 2024.
WIDE ANDCO is a social enterprise offering expertise, training and programmes in the fields of gender equality, digital skills and entrepreneurship. It is also the home of the Women in Digital Empowerment initiative, active in Luxembourg since 2013. Its workshops and events receive the support of Luxembourg’s Ministry for Gender Equality and Diversity (MEGA), Innovative Initiatives (Digital Luxembourg) and the Digital Learning Hub (DLH).
Firstly, “Career Guidance Sessions” are scheduled for 14 November 2024 and 5 December 2024. They were designed for women looking for a new job, interested in improving their CV and/or exploring new professional opportunities. This is also an opportunity to meet new people in their fields. This group session offers an occasion for women to get back into the job market by helping them set clear goals for their future digital careers. With this informal session, WIDE ANDCO aims to provide a safe space where participants can freely ask questions, share their experiences and receive guidance from fellow peers about various digital opportunities in Luxembourg, be it through education or employment. Meeting like-minded women is also a way to help grow one’s network. The sessions’ objective is to support women in pursuing their aspirations to acquire digital skills or venture into the digital market by providing guidance within the Luxembourg ecosystem.
