For its ninth consecutive edition, the Luxembourg Internet Days will take place once again in person on the premises of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 November 2022.

Organised in partnership with many local institutions and the European Commission, the 2022 edition will put the United States (US) in the spotlight. "Keeping the internet safe and secure is of paramount importance to us and we are happy to share our experience with our Luxembourg partners and friends. We look forward to a great event!", said the US Ambassador to Luxembourg, Thomas Barrett.

The event will bring together more than 1,000 IT and ICT professionals to exchange in a pragmatic and rather technical way on the challenges they must face to continue to protect their organisations.

The convergence of information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) having become an unavoidable reality, the organisers feel that it is impossible today to talk about developments in Industry (now 4.0) without mentioning this convergence which brings industry IT managers, as well as those from other sectors of activity, to face new security challenges related to the connection of their production, control or flow management tools to the Internet.

The Internet is now in all layers of any company. Therefore, the Luxembourg Internet Days 2022 will give pride of place to the management of OT issues which impact the daily life of IT professionals, whether in telecom networks, industry, logistics, the health sector, critical infrastructures, the transport of people and goods, etc.

Schneider Electric, SIGA OT and others will share their vision of the evolution of these security issues applied to critical or non-critical infrastructures, to means of communication and production.

Since protecting the business upstream is never a 100% guaranteed process, the event will also address resilience, back-up and business recovery after an attack with testimonials and solution proposals.
