The third edition of the Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg will take place from 15 to 20 October 2019.

Organised by SECURITYMADEIN.LU, the Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg will once again feature the local ecosystem and partners. Benefitting from the involvement of all major stakeholders the the event's advocacy campaign grows year after year and helps to position Luxembourg as one of the world leaders in the sector (ranked 11th in the ITU Global Cybersecurity Index 2018).

This third edition will again be under the High Patronage of the Ministry of Economy and organised in the framework of the European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM). Luxembourg's contribution to this European initiative, organised by the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) and the European Commission - DG Connect, further promotes European cybersecurity expertise internationally.

The Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg aims to foster cybersecurity competence among citizens, public organisations as well as private entities. Unlike a forum, this 10-day event is used to aggregate and boost the various events that will take place in different locations all over the Grand Duchy in order to raise awareness, share best practices and provide experts a platform to exchange about trends and emerging challenges on information security.

On 24 October 2019, during the Gala and Awards Night, key players of cybersecurity will be awarded CISO of the Year, Best Inclusion Initiative, Most Promising Young Talent and Most Promising Cybersecurity Solution.
