The Union Luxembourgeoise de Patinage de Vitesse (ULPV) has announced that the national short track (ice speed skating) championships will take place at the Kockelscheuer ice rink on Sunday 19 April 2026.
According to the ULPV, both very young participants and athletes who have been training for several years will compete for medals.
Alongside well-known and long-standing COSL squad athlete Peter Murphy, several younger talents are "set to deliver exciting races" across the three classic distances (500, 1,000 and 1,500 m).
“It will be interesting to see who comes out on top,” noted the ULPV. The event is scheduled to start at 15:00.
