JTC has consolidated its Luxembourg operations today through a move to the new Bijou building in Luxembourg-Cloche d'Or, which includes Exequtive Partners, acquired by the global fund and corporate services provider in 2019.

Previously situated across two offices, JTC’s Luxembourg team is now united under one roof and one brand, in line with the firm’s mantra of being "Stronger Together". Despite current restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, JTC confirmed that it sees this office move as part of its long-term strategic commitment to Luxembourg and growth in the region.

The Bijou building is located in Cloche d'Or, 4.5 km south of Luxembourg’s city centre, and JTC will be occupying two full floors.

As sustainability forms a crucial part of JTC’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) framework, Bijou’s sustainability credentials further align it with the firm's values. Bijou was awarded a "very good" grade A rating by BREEAM, the world's leading sustainability assessment method for master planning projects, infrastructure and buildings. Additionally, on completion, Bijou has a predicted B energy performance rating.

In 2009, JTC opened an office in Luxembourg, Europe's largest and the world's second largest (after the US) investment fund centre, to provide a European centre for fund and corporate services, forming a core part of its Institutional Client Services division.

Commenting on the next stage of JTC Luxembourg's journey, Joost Mees, Managing Director – Head of Luxembourg, said: "Due to our expansion in Luxembourg over the last few years it has been part of the plan to relocate all our Luxembourg teams to one office space that could comfortably accommodate our 100+ team while also allowing room for future growth. I am very pleased that Bijou is our new home and as one of the newest and most modern buildings in Luxembourg it is an ideal place for our team to come together. For JTC it is also brilliant to move its largest continental European team to such a high-profile building and it is a testament to the investment and commitment the Group is willing to make to Luxembourg as one of JTC’s key jurisdictions".
