2be.lu Investments, a Luxembourgish early-stage venture capital fund, has announced its role as a cornerstone investor in the latest €1 million funding round of Arthur, a British cloud-based property management solution.

The UK-based software as a service (SAAS) platform provides an end-to-end property management solution for all rental assets. It reportedly gives property managers a high level of control over their portfolios by bringing agents, tenants, owners and contractors together on a single platform. Through automation and systemisation, Arthur also aims to enable significant efficiencies and greater client engagement.

The platform currently has more than 70,000 monthly paying units managed by several thousand individual property managers in 1,000 companies across 30 countries.

2be.lu Investments has been an investor in Arthur since 2017. Alexander Tkachenko, Managing Partner of 2be.lu Venture Capital fund, commented: “The success of Arthur was assured by a combination of a viable business model and a great execution by a professional team”. He added: “The new investment will give Arthur another boost, allowing both international expansion and growth of the core customer base in the UK”.

Rochelle Trup, CFO of Arthur Online, also commented: “We are delighted by 2be.lu’s continued support which has given us the means to continue growing rapidly. While the near-term focus is to grow in the core sectors of residential, social, commercial and student accommodation, we are not ruling out any sectors in the long term, making the size of the potential market truly massive. Arthur currently has about 0.5% share of the UK market; the long-term aim is to capture 1% of the global market.”
