On Friday 20 February 2026, the Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) announced the national women’s squad selected by head coach Daniel Santos for the upcoming UEFA Women’s European Qualifiers matches against Scotland, the first of which will take place at home on Tuesday 3 March 2026.

Luxembourg will host Scotland at the Stade Emile Mayrisch on Tuesday at 19:30, before travelling to face Scotland again at Hampden Park on Saturday 7 March 2026 at 18:00. A total of 23 players have been called up for the two fixtures.

Head coach Daniel Santos has called up 23 players, including goalkeepers Emma Goetz (FK Austria Wien, Austria), Joy Jung (Swift Hesperange) and Lucie Schlimé (SC Sand, Germany). Among the defenders are Ana Barbosa (Racing FC Union Luxembourg), Amal Cherkane (SC Bettembourg), Kimberley Dos Santos (1. FC Saarbrücken, Germany), Liane Freymann (SV Deutz 05, Germany), Emma Kremer (Vorwärts Spoho 98, Germany), Rita Leite (FC Tirsense, Portugal) and Andreia Machado (Racing FC Union Luxembourg).

Midfield options include Marta Estevez (Racing FC Union Luxembourg), Edina Kocan (Racing FC Union Luxembourg), Olivia Konsbrück (Swift Hesperange), Catarina Lavinas (FC Famalicão, Portugal), Leticia Mateus (Jeunesse Junglinster), Laura Miller (1. FC Nürnberg, Germany), Anna Miny (TuS Issel, Germany) and Charlotte Schmit (Sporting CP, Portugal).

In attack, Daniel Santos has selected Hannah Dietrich (1. FC Saarbrücken, Germany), Caroline Jorge (Racing FC Union Luxembourg), Charlie Jorge (Jeunesse Junglinster), Rachel Kirps (SV Elversberg, Germany) and Amy Thompson (FC Differdange 03).

In Group B4, Luxembourg will also face Israel and Belgium.

The 2024/2025 season marked a strong campaign for Luxembourg’s women’s national team. The Red Lionesses were promoted to League B of the UEFA Women’s Nations League for the first time after winning five of their six matches and drawing one in League C. The team was also named Best Team of the Year 2025 by the Luxembourg Sports Press Association (sportspress.lu).
