On Thursday 22 July 2021, F91 Dudelange lost their 1st-leg second qualifying round match in the Europa Conference League at home to Bohemians of Ireland.

The match was played at the Stade Jos Nosbaum in Dudelange and the home side had plenty of possession throughout much of the game. However, the visitors were well organised, particularly in defence, and restricted F91 to mainly long-range strikes as the home side searched in vain for an equaliser.

Bohemians went ahead in the 11th minute with a clipped pass by Dawson Devoy which found Ross Tierney who slotted home.

F91 players picked up a significant seven yellow cards, with Bohemians three.

The return leg will be played next Thursday at the home of Ireland's national rugby and football, the Aviva stadium in Dublin, at which a reduced capacity of 8,000 fans are expected to attend.

Meanwhile, Fola Esch faced a tricky away game at the DVTK Stadium in Miskolc, Hungary, against Belarus side FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk.

Fola scored first mid-way through the first half, thanks to a goal from Omosanya, with Mustafic doubling the visitors' lead one minute before half-time. Stasevich managed to get one goal back for Shakhtyor with with 22 minutes left on the clock, but Fola held out for a 1-2 away win to take into the second leg in Luxembourg next Thursday.

Shakhtyor players picked up five yellow cards.
