Luxembourg - Scotland football friendly;

On Sunday 6 June 2021, Luxembourg's men's football team played a friendly game against Scotland at the Stade Josy Barthel in Luxembourg-ville, with the visiting team running out winners with the only goal of the game.

Ché Adams scored on 27 minutes, with Selimovic being sent off three minutes later for the home side for a bad foul.

This was Luxembourg's first game playing back in front of fans, with only a limited number permitted inside the stadium. Seats were clearly marked regarding which could be used.

This was Scotland's last game in their warm-up programme before the EURO2020 tournament in which they play in Group D. Their first match in the campaign will be when they face Czech Republic in Glasgow on 14 June.

On Wednesday, Luxembourg's men's football team played a friendly game against Norway at the La Rosaleda stadium in Malaga, Spain.

The match was played in sunny conditions, with the temperature at 23C.

The Red Devils almost held on for a creditable 0-0 draw; however, a goal - from Erling Haaland (assisted by by Thorstvedt) in the second minute of 6 added-on minutes at the end of the second half - was enough to split the two teams.

During the match, Norway were the more creative team and managed 11 shots on goal (just 2 on target), compared to just 6 from Luxembourg (0 on target), with Norway having 9 corners to Luxembourg's 3. Norway had 60% of possession.
