In their first EUFA Europa League group match, F91 Dudelange lost 0-1 at home to AC Milan of Italy.

The match had been a sell-out shortly after tickets went on sale, and was played at the Stade Josy Barthel, Luxembourg's national football stadium.

The only goal of the game was scored by the visitors' Gonzalo Higuaín on the hour, who was credited with a deflected shot that hit the back of the net.

AC Milan are seven-time European champions, while F91 Dudelange were playing the first ever match by any Luxembourg team in the group stages of a European club football tournament.
