On Thursday evening at the Stade Josy Barthel in Luxembourg city, F91 Dudelange won through their 3rd qualifying round in this season's UEFA Europa League when they defeated Legia Warsaw 4-3 on aggregate.

Leading 2-1 from an away win in Poland last week, the second leg finished 2-2. On the evening, F91 got off to a dream start and went 2-0 up with goals from Patrick Stumpf (7 mins) and Stélvio Da Cruz (17 mins). With the visitors getting one back in the 33rd minute through José Kanté, the home side went in at half-time 2-1 up on the night, and 4-4 on aggregate.

However, Kanté scored a second goal for Legia Warsaw with four minutes left on the clock, leaving the home crowd with a nervous nine minutes before the final whistle sounded - after an additional five minutes was played - to send the home side through 4-3 on aggregate.

F91 Dudelange will now face CFR Cluj in the play-offs.

Meanwhile, Progrès Niederkorn went out of the competition 4-3 on aggregate to Russian side Ulfa who will play Glasgow Rangers in the next round (last year, the Luxembourg side famously dumped Rangers out of the competition). Despite drawing 2-2 on the night in the match played in Differdange, thanks to an own goal and one scored by Mayron De Almeida, the visitors won through thanks to a first-leg 2-1 win.
