The Association of Banks and Bankers Luxembourg (ABBL) and The Dots will co-host the first Bank Universe Summit on Tuesday 11 June 2024 at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
This event will bring together experts in the field of finance to exchange ideas and contribute to the future of banking.
According to the organisers, the emergence of new technologies and their impact on the financial world are becoming increasingly apparent. It is essential to remain aware and prepared for these changes that will reshape the banking sector.
More than just a traditional event, the Banking Universe Summit will be a unique gathering of leaders in the banking sector to reflect on the vision of a sustainable, innovative and responsible future for banking services.

Esteemed guests such as Gilles Roth, Minister of Finance of Luxembourg, alongside experts from banking solutions provider Avaloq and global consulting firms Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC will be present for this event. The summit aims to bring together all those involved in the financial sector and share insights on five key themes shaping the bank of tomorrow: Payments, Open Finance, Digital Banking, Regulation, Country Attractiveness and Talent Management.
The doors will open at 16:00 for registration, providing visitors the opportunity to meet and connect with other attendees. The event will kick off at 17:00 with an introduction by Ananda Kautz, Member of the Management Board at ABBL and Sarah Odru, Head of Member Relations at ABBL. Speeches will follow by new ABBL Chairman, Yves Stein, and the Minister of Finance of Luxembourg, Gilles Roth, marking the official opening of the Banking Universe Summit.
Attendees will attend a fireside chat with Jerry Grbic, CEO at ABBL, and engage in interactive sessions with sponsors Avaloq and the "Big Four" around various topics: Digital Banking presented by KPMG, Open Finance addressed by Deloitte, Cloud tackled by PwC, and Country Attractiveness and Talent Management investigated by EY.
