The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) has announced that the Luxembourg undertakings for collective investment (UCI) industry recorded a positive change amounting to €91.811 billion in the month of November 2019.

As of 30 November 2019, the aggregate net assets of global UCIs amounted to €4.669,701 billion as opposed to €4.577.890 billion the previous month, representing an increase of 2.01% over one month. Over the last twelve months, the volume of net assets increased by 11.39%.

For its part, the Luxembourg UCI industry industry posted a positive change in the month of November amounting to €91.811 billion. This increase represents the balance of positive net issues up to €20.985 billion (+0.46%) and the favourable financial market developments of €70.826 billion (+1.55%).  

The number of UCIs taken into consideration was 3,779 (compared to 3,785 in October). 2,476 entities have adopted an umbrella structure representing 13,524 compartments. Adding 1,303 entities with a traditional structure, a total of 14,827 units are active in the financial centre.
