Action comedy; 115 mins; 12+

Gary Johnson (Glen Powell) teaches philosophy in a high school in New Orleans and supplements his income by helping the police with electronic surveillance. Along with police officer (Retta), Craig (Mike Markoff) and Jasper (Austin Amelio), they work as a team to pull off sting operations involving hit men for hire.

However, on one such covert operation Gary is thrust into the starring role and goes undercover as the hit man for hire. His persona is a mysterious gun for hire and becomes much sought-after as his "reputation" gathers momentum.

In one scenario, he breaks protocol and takes pity on Maddison (Adria Arjona) who initially wants him to kill her abusive husband; however, he convinces her to leave him instead. Gary and Maddison start seeing each other which is when things start to become complicated as they move into into dangerous territory; and they become more so when Maddison's husband, Ray (Evan Holtzman) tries to recruit Gary's hit man character to kill Maddison...

A solid storyline based on an interesting premise and quite humorous with a few laugh-out-loud moments. Good character development, particularly around the two lead characters, Maddison and Gary, with both Glen Powell and Adria Arjona showcasing charisma and comedic timing. A new black comedy that should attract good audience numbers.
