Following the success of previous years, the Pavilion’s sixth VR Day has announced it will invite international professionals and experts to discuss current trends and challenges in the XR industry on Thursday 29 February 2024, at the Abbaye de Neumünster (neimënster) Salle Josée Ensch in Luxembourg-Grund.

The organisers noted that the VR Day will feature panels, presentations and discussion rounds on current tendencies in the field, the medium’s potential to rewrite history through new perspectives, and Luxembourg’s commitments in this area with special presentations on upcoming VR projects.

The event will be an exclusive opportunity to learn about current developments in immersive art practices and technologies. It will also promote international exchanges and peer networking. A panel will be dedicated to several creators behind the immersive experiences exhibited at the VR Pavilion.

The convenors for this day are Myriam Achard, Chief for New Media Partnerships and PR at PHI Montréal and Guy Daleiden, CEO of Film Fund Luxembourg.

The lineup of speakers and guests to be expected includes film directors and producers, artistic directors and heads of industry, among whom:
