Luxembourgish coproduction "The Prince's Voyage" ("Le Voyage du Prince") will be released in cinemas in the Grand Duchy on Wednesday 3 February 2021.

Directed by Jean-François Laguionie and Xavier Picard, The Prince's Voyage was co-produced by Melusine Productions and French production company Blue Spirit. The 2019 animated film lasts 1 hour 17 minutes and is in the French language. Le Parc Distribution is in charge of distribution. 

The film is deemed suitable for children aged 8 and up.

Synopsis

An old prince is stranded on an unknown shore. Wounded and lost, he is found by young Tom and taken in by his parents, two researchers forced into exile. Guided by Tom, the prince discovers with enthusiasm and fascination a society that is frozen and sclerotic.

The film was originally scheduled for release in Luxembourg on 25 November 2020 but this date was postponed and has now been rescheduled to 3 February 2021.
