Festival de Wiltz
The Wiltz Festival will take place at the castle amphitheatre (1 Rue du Chateau) from Friday 26 June to Friday 17 July 2026.
Among the highlights of this year's edition are acts such as Einstürzende Neubauten, Dogstar and Goran Bregović - names that underscore the festival's international appeal, according to the organisers.
On Saturday 27 June, Goran Bregović and his Wedding & Funeral Orchestra will transform the amphitheatre into an open-air celebration with a mix of Balkan sounds, brass music and "cinematic sound poetry".
On Thursday 2 July, Dogstar - featuring actor Keanu Reeves - will perform in Wiltz. More than 20 years after their last performance, Keanu Reeves is returning to the stage as Dogstar's bassist, alongside his bandmates, for a series of reunion concerts.
On Thursday 9 July, the festival will welcome Einstürzende Neubauten, one of the most influential groups on the international avant-garde scene. Shaped by the West Berlin subculture of the early 1980s, the band led by Blixa Bargeld has been creating "unique soundscapes" for more than four decades using "self-made instruments, industrial sounds and poetic power".
This year also introduces a new "CloseUp" format designed to bring artists and audiences closer together in a more intimate concert setting. Featured performances include the Victor Kraus Group with "Canto Ostinato", Veda & The String Machine and the Shai Maestro Quartet.
Also new is a Family Day focused on children and families, featuring theatre, magic, juggling, music and a pasta party. Participants include the Junge Theater Bonn with The Jungle Book, KiKa star Herr Jan, Jonn Happi and other family-oriented acts.
Since 1953, the Wiltz Amphitheatre, set against the backdrop of the historic castle, has hosted the Festival de Wiltz. Over the past decades, artists including Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Dee Dee Bridgewater, the Gipsy Kings, Element of Crime, Carminho, Skunk Anansie and Bilderbuch have performed there.
