On Tuesday 25 February 2025, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that a licence is required for any organisation wishing to set up a stand in a public space on Sunday 22 June 2025, as part of the National Day Eve celebrations.
VdL informed businesses in the HORECA sector that a permit is required for all establishments wishing to install a sales stand (drinks, catering, etc.) and/or a music stand in a public space on the eve of the national holiday. Submissions must be made on the relevant application form to the Events, Festivals and Markets Department of VdL no later than Sunday 27 April 2025.
