The Luxembourg City Toursit Office (LCTO) has released the full programme of its festival weekend this Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July 2015.

Three outdoor stages will be installed in Place Guillaume II, Place Clairefontaine and Rue du Saint-Esprit for the 35 concerts taking place during Saturday's MeYouZik festival and Sunday's Rock am Knuedler, all completely free of charge.

The World MeYouZik Festival will celebrate four big names in the programme, namely Debademba; street musicians and peace campaigners Playing for Change; reggae, soul and rock mix musicians Winston McAnuff & Fixi; and Afro-Colombian electronic fusion Palenke Soultribe.

Eight other musical groups will be performing on the stage at Rue du Saint-Esprit, and the MeYouVillage area in Place Clairefontaine will bring together NGOs and associations in development aid. The aim of the festival is to promote a wide range of musical talents from all horizons.

The following day, Rock am Knuedler will celebrate its 25th anniversary with eighteen Luxembourgish rock bands, including Mutiny on the Bounty who recently performed at Den Atelier's Rock-A-Field 2015 festival. Headliner Anastacia will be performing songs from her latest album 'Resurrection', as well as global hits such as 'I'm Outta Love', 'Not That Kind' and 'Stupid Little Things'.

Rock am Knuedler has spent 25 years as the backbone of the summer programme 'Summer in the City', which enlivens the capital with cultural events and festivities during the summer period.
