Additional Plastic Packaging Waste Accepted in Valorlux Blue Bags

From today, Thursday 1 July 2021, Luxembourg non-profit organisation Valorlux is expanding its range of services to individuals and businesses.

Valorlux, the main local player in the field of collecting, sorting and recycling packaging waste, is simplifying the collection of packaging waste via its blue bags.

From 1 July, residents of municipalities participating in the extension of the collection of new types of packaging via the Valorlux blue bag will be able to apply the new simplified sorting instructions. The goal is to achieve standardisation of sorting instructions across the country.

In addition to the usual plastic bottles, metal packaging and beverage cartons, households and businesses can now dispose of plastic pots, cups, trays, bags and films and bags using the blue bags.
