For kids who need to brush up on their German, the Institut Pierre Werner in cooperation with the Goethe Institut Nancy is offering intensive courses for 10 to 13 year olds in order to boost their levels and overcome difficulties in class.

The courses will take place from 28 August to 1 September and from 4 to 8 September in the premises of the Abbey of Neumünster

From 28 August to 1 September, pupils of the European and international schools in Luxembourg will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of German, to reach the German language base and to revise in the best way possible for the school year.

From the 4 to the 8 of September, the pupils in primary school cycle four and the first two years of the classical or technical school will have the same possibility.

The content of the course was developed in collaboration with German professors from Luxembourg. Students will apply the language through role plays and communication situations.

The course will not only contain communication exercises but will also take into account the revision of grammar points deemed difficult, as well as comprehension and written expression exercises adapted to the curriculum.

The courses cost €340 for 20 teaching units. For more information, see: www.ipw.lu
