On Wednesday 13 July 2016, the Rotondes in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie will be hosting a workshop in collaboration with Caritas Luxembourg in which one can “upcycle” items in one's wardrobe, from 18:30.
Upcycling is the process of turning old, discarded or unused items into new, useful and improved materials. By upcycling, one increases an item’s value. It is extremely beneficial to the environment as it promotes reuse as opposed to waste. However, the Upcycle your Textile workshops are not only ecological – they also offer the opportunity to create and recreate unique items in a dynamic and friendly atmosphere.
