On Thursday 9 June 2016, the ATOZ Chair for European and International Taxation of the University of Luxembourg will be organising a public seminar dedicated to tax-related exchanges of information.

The event will begin with a presentation by Serge Schroeder, Premier Conseiller at the Cour Administrative du Luxembourg, on the recent preliminary ruling request from Luxembourg's Cour to the Court of Justice in Berlioz Investment Fund, which questions the compatibility of Luxembourg Law of 25 November 2014 (suppressing judicial review of a decision to exchange information) with the requirements of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

This will be followed by a panel discussion with academic experts on the co-operation of national tax administratiions versus taxpayers' fundamental rights.

The seminar will take place at 18:15 in Conference Room B.001 of the Weicker Building at the University of Luxembourg, 4 rue Alphonse Weicker, 2721 Luxembourg.
