
On Tuesday 19 January 2016, TNT Theatre Britain will be presenting an adaptation of Mary Shelley's masterpiece 'Frankenstein'.
Produced by American Drama Group Europe (ADGE), this comedy adapted by Paul Stebbings and Phil Smith will remind the audience but stage versions and films of 'Frankenstein' forget - that the story is not a novel but a myth spun from Mary Shelley's original. Boris Karloff's immense impact and the original story now combine to greate this Gothic comedy intertwined with a gripping horror thriller that delves into the darker themes of the myth.
Questions exploring the pitfalls of scientific research, the morality of creating artifical life and the restraints science has or should encounter lay the Monster bare in all his lonely suffering, creating a melodramatic, comedic, terrifying and even amorous atmosphere all at once.
