This Saturday, 19 December, will see the launch of a new project allowing Food Trucks to trade at eight specific locations around the city within the 1st phase of the initiative which will see Food Trucks operating in public places from april 2016.
These eight sites are located at:
• rue Henri Dunant, Beggen
• rue François Hogenberg, Gasperich
• rue Guillaume Kroll, Gasperich
• rue Saint Quirin, Grund
• avenue Adolphe Sax, Limpertsberg
• rue Nic Bové, Merl
• rue Saint Mathieu, Pfaffenthal
• Kinnekswiss Nord-Ouest, Ville-Haute.
The food trucks will be allowed offer their food and drink seven days a week between 11:00 and 15:00, except on Rue St. Quirin and the Kinnekswiss North-west, where the sale is permitted from 11:00 to 20:00.
The food trucks locations are to be awarded four times a year for three or six months, following a call for applications to ensure a certain rotation of operators and a variation in the supply of food and beverages.
The first call for nominations for the occupation of the April to June 2016 (3 months) locations and from April to September 2016 (6 months) will be launched on 19 December 2015. The deadline for submission of applications for this period is 25 January 2016.
