The Fondation EME has announced that the show “Wesch Side Story” is being performed at the Rockhal in Esch-Belval on Tuesday 5 November 2024 at 19:00.
The show has been created by teenagers of the Maison des Jeunes d’Esch-sur-Alzette and talented artists who accompanied them throughout the process. This show mixes rap, hip hop, music and lighting effects, as well as graffiti performances, in an urban universe thirsty for freedom.
Wesch Side Story is intended to be a contemporary show, celebrating diversity, inclusion and creativity, highlighting the stories of the participants and offering them a platform for expression.
Under the artistic direction of David Galassi and Sylvia Camarda, accompanied by Claudia Urhausen, Luka Tonnar and Paul Schumacher, these young people were able to experience the process of creating dances and lyrics for the second time.
