ABOUT THE AEROWAVES NETWORK

Created in 1996, the Aerowaves network offers young choreographers the opportunity to present their creations on the stages of many European cities. Aerowaves is supported by the Culture programme of the European Union (Europe Creative) and is made up of 45 partners from 33 European countries, including TROIS C-L.

Each year, the members of the network publish a priority list highlighting twenty proposals from emerging artists. The winners of this programme, entitled “AerowavesTwenty”, are thus placed in the rank of Hope of Dance. The label, which is awarded to them by dance professionals from all over Europe, represents a strong gesture of encouragement and support for their creative process, which is deemed to be promising and innovative.

These artistic productions are then invited by the various partners of the Aerowaves network which, through its mission of discovering young talent, claims its role as mediator between choreographers, programmers and dance enthusiasts across Europe.
