The Škoda Tour de Luxembourg has announced the dates for the 85th edition of Luxembourg's professional cycling race in 2025.
The race will be expanded to a five-day event, up from four days (four stages over 705.1km); it will get underway on Wednesday 17 September 2025, and will take competitors through five stages, over a total of five days, before the grand finale on Sunday 21 September 2025.
The Tour de Luxembourg was created in 1935, with the first two editions being contested as independent events. There were no editions in 1940 or 1944, thus making 2025 the 85th edition of the prestigious race. The event became international in the early 1980s and in 2005 it became the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg, when car brand Škoda became a partner of the event. In 2020 the tour entered the ProSeries division (second division) of world cycling.
The milestone 85th edition in September 2025 will take competitors through Luxembourg's scenic landscapes and diverse terrains. Top international teams and riders are expected to participate as they aim to claim the coveted title from 2024 champion, Antoni Tiberi from Team Bahrain Victorious.
