Clervaux Hotels to Host Bicycle Ride Event with Frank Schleck

The Excellence hotel group in Clervaux has announced that it is organising, in partnership with the FSCL (Luxembourg cycling sports federation), a special event on Saturday 19 October 2024.

This special stay includes a bicycle ride through the north of Luxembourg, supervised by former professional cyclist and FSCL coach and coordinator Frank Schleck. On the programme is 50 km of discovery, as well as expert advice on maintaining one's bicycle.

Frank Schleck rode professionally between 2003 and 2016, notably having taken part in the Tour de France. At the end of this sporty ride, Frank will lead a conference in one of the hotel's seminar rooms. He will retrace his story and discuss the life of a professional cyclist with all the sacrifices that this requires.

Participants will then be invited to a special aperitif, where Frank Schleck will give a welcoming speech. A hot and cold buffet will then be offered, accompanied by unlimited drinks for an evening of conviviality and sharing.

The complete package for this event, including the bicycle ride, aperitif, buffet, drinks and conference costs €99 per person. Accommodation at the Koener Hotel and breakfast are not included in this rate, and vary depending on the choice of room.

The hotel group added that, in case of "very bad" weather, a gravel ride will be offered as an alternative to the road ride.
