On Monday 15 June 2026, the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee (LPC) reported on the participation of Amsal Redzepovic and Paul Kremer at the 2026 UEC European Para-Cycling Road Championships, held in Maniago and Montereale Valcellina, Italy from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 June.

Amsal Redzepovic and Paul Kremer, two athletes from the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee's elite squad took part in the tricycle category (MT2) and the hand bike category (MH4) respectively.

The LPC reported that the championships began on Friday 12 June with the individual time trial over a distance of 18.6 km (two laps). In the MT2 category, Amsal Redzepovic finished in eighth place with a time of 42:46.59. In the MH4 category, Paul Kremer placed thirteenth in 38:25.58. The LPC noted that through competing against a particularly strong European field, both Luxembourg athletes had the opportunity to measure themselves against some of the continent's leading specialists in their respective disciplines.

Saturday 13 June was dedicated to the road races. On a 33 km course (five laps), Amsal Redzepovic again finished in eighth place. Paul Kremer contested the MH4 road race over 59.4 km (nine laps) and finished fourteenth.

The LPC said: “Facing experienced European competition, both Luxembourg athletes leave these European Championships with encouraging results and valuable experience that will benefit their future sporting development. The Luxembourg Paralympic Committee congratulates Amsal Redzepovic and Paul Kremer on their commitment and performances throughout the competition. The LPC also extends its thanks to the coaches and support staff present on site for their guidance and assistance, as well as to the Fédération du Sport Cycliste Luxembourgeois (FSCL) for its cooperation in supporting the development of para-cycling in Luxembourg.”
