Curling Club Luxembourg has announced that this year's Four Nations Curling Clubs Cup will take place at Kockelscheuer Ice Rink on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December 2022.

The competition will be played with five teams in a round robin (all-play-all, four games at six ends) followed by a gold and bronze final.

This year's participating teams are:

  • Lëtzebuerg 1: Daniel Schweich, Karen Wauters, Marc Promme, Philippe Giltaire;
  • Lëtzebuerg 2: Maja Bjerg-Petersen, Volker Beba, Claude Schweitzer, Alex Benoy;
  • Charleville-Mézières (France): Olivier Barrillot, Jean-Marc Lair, Pierre Jurion, Benoît Bucchiotty
  • Erfurt (Germany): Annelie Holzfuss, Heidrun Holzfuss, Mareike Holzfuss, Alex Semm, Matthias Holzfuss;
  • Zemst (Take-Out Tigers, Belgium): Andres Frederix, Frank Goubert, Pieter Meijlaers, Pim Van Vlaenderen.

Rules: all matches are played with six ends (time-limit: 81 minutes) and there are two points for a victory and one point for a draw.
 
Regarding the first four places after the round robin, if two or more teams have the same number of points, the direct confrontation is first taken into consideration (number of ends, points etc.). If this brings no result, a draw-shot challenge with two players from each team will take place.

Members of the public are invited to attend and support the teams throughout the weekend.
