On the occasion of the Easter holidays, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has announced “Easter Safari” guided tours for children for the first time.

Based on the “City Safari” circuit, developed with the National Museum of Natural History, the “Easter Safari” will discover urban jungle and a very special animal: the "Péckvillchen".

From Tuesday 5 to Sunday 17 April 2022, the "Easter Safari" will be organised every Tuesday and Thursday at 14:00 in Luxembourgish. Additional guided tours will be organised in parallel on Saturdays at 14:00 in English and German, and on Sundays at 15:00 in French and Luxembourgish.

For two hours, an experienced guide will take children aged 4 to 12 and their carers through the Luxembourg city centre to search for the many animals, including lions, a lizard and even an unicorn.

On the occasion of Easter, children will also go in search along the circuit for the hidden several “Péckvillcher”, small terracotta whistling birds traditionally sold on Easter Monday at Émaischen.

Tickets are sale on luxembourg-city.com and at the LCTO tourist information office located at Place Guillaume II (children aged 4 to 12: €7.50, adults: €15, students and seniors:€12). The number of participants is limited to 20 people per guided tour.

The LCTO will also organise a digital egg hunt on its social networks during the Easter weekend.
