The Fondation Sommer, a private foundation under Luxembourg law, has launched three new calls for projects aimed at strengthening the empowerment of children and young people through arts and culture, as well as intercultural dialogue in Luxembourg.

On a quarterly basis, the foundation supports several participatory projects that have a high potential for impact on the target audience. These new project calls are addressed to cultural and educational institutions, companies, ensembles and groups of artists as well as to organisations working in the field of citizenship, integration and social action.

In its efforts to encourage the exchange of transdisciplinary experiences and intercultural dialogue, the Sommer Foundation will support the following three types of projects this quarter: projects carried out jointly between cultural and educational institutions; projects promoting intercultural exchange in Luxembourg, carried out jointly between a Luxembourg organisation and an organisation representing one or more international community living in Luxembourg; projects targeting the development of educational activities as part of an artistic creation project.

Interested project leaders can submit their projects three times a year, at fixed deadlines, the next one being 1 December 2019. Details of the calls and the procedures for submitting applications are published on the fondation-sommer.lu website.
